Client Summary:Our client is an established consulting firm located in the West Loop. Travel Required: 10%
Position Summary:
- Responsible for analyzing customer business objectives and designing solutions to meet those objectives
- Performs analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design, installation, documentation and administration of all server applications and hardware
- Lead implementations/migrations of the following products: Windows 2000/2003/XP Server, Active Directory, Exchange
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities at the client site
- Documentation of enterprise server topology and system configurations
- Provide support for miscellaneous IT issues including: PC and Server troubleshooting (hardware, applications, connectivity, etc.)
Experience:
- B.S. in Computer Science
- 5-7 years in a technical system administration or consulting role
- Experience working for a consulting company is a plus
- Hands on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining a Windows 2003 server environment including the following application services:
o Active Directory
o Exchange 2003
o Terminal Server
o IIS (Internet Information Server)
- Migration experience is desired
- Citrix experience is preferred but not required
- Experience designing cluster and load balanced server environments
- MCSE or MCSA cert on Windows 2003
