Travel Required:
Position Summary:
- As a member of the leadership team, the Healthcare Sales Manager will have complete accountability for the full new business development life cycle, from developing strategies and plans to driving execution.
- Identify, build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Develop sales deployment strategy from sales methodology development to sales organization growth strategies
- Identify and develop potential partnership relationships with healthcare IT vendors to generate a stream of referral based business.
- Meet a $3m personal quota in addition to a $1m management quota
- Provide exceptional leadership and create a culture of high achievement, profit-focus and excellent customer service, while contributing to the overall management and strategic development of the company
Experience:
- 5-10 yrs prior experience in professional services sales to senior-level executives of healthcare provider organizations, including but not limited to senior-level physicians
- History of establishing, expanding and closing complex, multi-million dollar service engagements
- Ability to lead a team of people through complex sales cycles
- Excellent academic accreditations
- Strong understanding of sales/marketing concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients
- Strong analytical ability and quantitative skills
- Advanced clinical degree not required, but candidate must understand the financial and clinical goals of healthcare organizations and be able to position the solution offerings to address these
- MBA or equivalent experience a plus
- Prior consulting/delivery experience a plus
